Ping is a community table tennis project, which is taking place in Cambridge City.
Cambridge City Council in partnership with Table Tennis England have a number of different outdoor tables on green spaces in the City as well as rollaway tables at indoor community settings. As part of this project, we are looking for volunteers and sports leaders to get involved in supporting the project through helping out with local sessions and at events taking place across the summer.

Attendance on this course as well as involvement in the project after can be used as part of the volunteer time credit scheme and also towards achieving young sports leaders awards. This informal workshop, which has been run in partnership with Chesterton Sports Centre will include an overview of the rules of table tennis, demonstrations on basic technique as well as ideas around fun games you can use.
